41. Somatic Practice for Fatigue & Burnout Recovery
Fatigue and burnout are not a personal failure. They often make a lot of sense when you understand what your nervous system has been carrying.
I have been getting more messages lately from people who feel exhausted, shut down, disconnected, or like they cannot quite reset, even when they are trying to rest. So I wanted to create a podcast episode that speaks directly to that experience and offers you a somatic practice to support your system.
In this episode, I talk about fatigue and burnout through a nervous system lens and why exhaustion is not always just about doing too much. Sometimes it is what happens when the body has been under strain for too long without enough support, recovery, or completion. I also walk you through a gentle practice to help you orient to the present, notice how fatigue is showing up in your body, and begin working with your system in a way that is steady and compassionate.
