34. My Nervous System Health Toolkit: Daily Practices for Regulation
There are seasons when life asks a lot of you, and the question is not just how you keep up, but what actually helps you stay present inside of it.
That is really what this podcast episode is about. I share this because one of the biggest things I have come to understand over the years is that the way I show up in my work, my relationships, and my home has very little to do with how much I know and everything to do with how supported my nervous system is. My body comes with me everywhere, and when my system is depleted, there is a limit to what I can truly hold no matter how much I care.
In this week’s podcast episode, I talk about the daily practices that help me feel more regulated, grounded, and available for my life. I share how I think about things like movement, nourishment, sleep, rest, protected space, solitude, and decompression, not as rigid rules or another form of discipline, but as a way of supporting my capacity and caring for myself with more honesty. I also speak to the deeper shift underneath all of it, which is moving from willpower and performance into self-love, devotion, and listening to what my body is actually asking for.
If you have been feeling stretched thin, overstimulated, emotionally off, or like you are trying to hold a lot without enough support, I think this episode will help you understand why nervous system care matters so much and how to begin integrating it into your day in simple, meaningful ways. Tune in for a more grounded and realistic conversation about what it looks like to support yourself before depletion takes over.
